Draughtsman Civil

There are plenty of chances in the infrastructural development field now a days. The construction industry is developing very rapidly. So a draughtsman has a very important role in this field. The chances of employment are very high both in Govt. and private sectors. The opportunities are also available abroad. The portions covered in the above course are, theory and practical knowledge on building and structural drawing, construction and surveying including irrigation, roads, railways etc. The syllabus also covers auto cad 2D

Electronic Mechanic

The job opportunities are available in industrial electronics and construction and maintenance of Electronic Equipments. There are chances of employment as technical assistants in various departments. The syllabus for the above two trades includes basic electricity, study of electronic components, computer hardware and maintenance and servicing of various electronic equipments.

Plumber

Plumbing work plays an important role in construction industries like factory related water works, pumping stations, distribution lines in house connections etc. The syllabus includes masonry construction, practicals in pipe fittings,domestic water supply, house drainage, sanitary appliances etc.

Welder (Gas & Electric)

The opportunities for a welder are in Cochin Shipyard, KSRTC, Indian Railway, L&T and many domestic and foreign industries and institutions. The topics are theory and practical of Electric and Gas welding.

Carpenter

The job opportunities for a carpenter are at Shipyard, KSRTC, Harbour Dept., Air force etc. The NCVT Certificate in carpenter is essential for getting the above jobs. The syllabus includes theoretical and Practical knowledge of joints, angles and construction of different types of furniture.

Wireman

The electricity is an inevitable factor in our life. The job opportunities for a wireman is very wide in various sectors of govt. depts. like KSEB, PWD, KWA, RRB etc. and also in house wiring, industrial wiring etc. The syllabus includes fundamental electricity, study of cables, wires, switches, motors and generators
